VACPA AND VTCA SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION 20/05/2013 14:12

On 22 March 2013 at VACPA Hanoi Office, the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) signed Memorandum of Cooperation with the Vietnam Tax Consultants’ Association (VTCA).

The signing of this MoC is the result of 5 years cooperation between the two associations in many activities, such as co-organization of training events, seminars, discussions, and provision of advisory opinions for members, for the benefits of their respective members.

VACPA is a professional body representing certified public accountants in Vietnam and VTCA is a professional body representing tax consultants in Vietnam. From 2013, the people to hold CPA Vietnam certificate (VACPA members) are also eligible to practice and provide tax declaration services (VTCA members). The cooperation between VACPA and VTCA will bring more benefits to their members in many aspects and the signing of the MoC will create a framework for cooperation activities between two associations.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Van Ta – VACPA President, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cuc – VTCA President, Mr. Bui Van Mai – VACPA Deputy President/Secretary General, along with other Board members of both VACPA and VTCA.

“By creating an official cooperation relationship, VACPA and VTCA will work together to bring mutual benefit to both organizations and their members. VACPA will support and cooperate closely with VTCA in a long-term action program to promote the sustainable development of both organizations”, said Mr. Tran Van Ta.
