The General Confederation of Labor has issued Plan 146/KH-TLD on organizing activities to take care of union members and employees on the occasion of the Lunar New Year in 2022.
Accordingly, employees have to pay social insurance premiums at enterprises, non-public non-business units, and pay trade union fees; Cadres, civil servants, and public employees in difficult circumstances are cared for and visited from the trade union's financial resources at the rate of 300,000 VND/person.
Total estimated funding is: 8,000,000 (person) x 300,000 (VND/person) = 2,400,000,000,000,000 (VND).
The plan clearly states, giving priority to giving gifts and visiting union members and employees of the following subjects:
– Union members and employees who are in difficult circumstances, affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, have labor accidents, occupational diseases, fatal diseases, natural disasters, storms, and floods;
– Union members and employees who belong to the beneficiaries of policy families or have not been able to return to their hometown for many years to reunite with their families during the Lunar New Year;
– Union members and workers do not return to their hometown to celebrate Lunar New Year.
The base union balances revenue and expenditure in the year and makes maximum use of the unit's accumulated resources to build the estimate to ensure the Lunar New Year care plan for union members and employees.
For union members and employees in public administrative and non-business units, base unions actively balance financial people to take care of them.
