On November 3, 2025, CPA VIETNAM Auditing Co., Ltd. was honored to welcome a delegation from the Guangzhou Institute of Certified Public Accountants, China, for a visit and working session at CPA VIETNAM’s headquarters.
The delegation was led by Mr. Zhu Yiming – Vice Chairman of the Institute, accompanied by Mr. Zhu Zifang – Vice Chairman and Secretary-General, together with more than 20 members and representatives of Chinese enterprises.

Representing Vietnam, the welcoming delegation included Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – former Deputy State Auditor General and Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors (VAA). Representing CPA VIETNAM were Mr. Nguyen Phu Ha – Chairman of the Members’ Council, members of the Board of General Directors, practicing auditors and leaders of the company’s professional departments.

At the beginning of the working session, Mr. Nguyen Phu Ha warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of CPA VIETNAM’s establishment and development, as well as its key areas of operation. Following this, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, representing VAA, delivered welcoming remarks, highlighting the positive relationship between professional organizations in Vietnam and China, while sharing insights into Vietnam’s legal framework, professional standards system and development orientations for the auditing profession.

During the professional exchange session, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on various topics related to accounting and auditing practices, including Vietnam’s accounting and auditing standards system, the regulatory framework for professional practice, training and certification models for auditors, and the role of professional associations in supporting and monitoring service quality in Vietnam.



The working session became particularly engaging as both sides raised numerous questions and shared practical experiences. Representatives of CPA VIETNAM discussed their experience in providing audit services to FDI enterprises, particularly Chinese-invested enterprises operating in Vietnam, while representatives of the Guangzhou Institute expressed interest in the similarities and differences between the professional practice regulations of the two countries.
Many insightful questions were raised and openly discussed by experts from both sides, covering topics ranging from audit quality assurance procedures and the application of technology in the profession to the role of auditors. These exchanges not only helped both parties gain a deeper understanding of each other’s professional systems, but also opened up opportunities for future cooperation, professional exchanges and human resource development.
At the conclusion of the program, representatives of both sides exchanged commemorative gifts, took a group photo and expressed their desire to maintain a strong cooperative relationship, with a view to organizing further professional exchange activities in the future.


The meeting not only provided an opportunity to strengthen mutual understanding and connections between CPA VIETNAM and the Guangzhou Institute of Certified Public Accountants, China, but also contributed to promoting friendship and professional cooperation between the two countries in the field of accounting and auditing, supporting the sustainable development and international integration of the profession.
