On June 20, 2026, the 8th National Congress of the National Club of Chief Accountants was held in Hanoi, bringing together hundreds of members, experts, researchers, representatives from regulatory authorities and educational institutions, as well as businesses operating in the finance and accounting sectors from across the country.
The Congress was attended by Mr. Trinh Duc Vinh and members of the Club's 7th-term Executive Board, along with hundreds of members from corporations, general corporations, enterprises, state agencies, universities, colleges, and research institutes nationwide. Mr. Nguyen Phu Ha, a member of the Club's Executive Board and Chairman of the Members' Council of CPA VIETNAM Auditing Co., Ltd., also attended the event.

The Congress was attended by Prof. Dr. Doan Xuan Tien, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors (VAA); Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of VAA; Mr. Vu Duc Chinh, Vice Chairman of VAA; and former VAA leaders.
At the Congress, Mr. Trinh Duc Vinh, Chairman of the National Club of Chief Accountants for the 7th term, reviewed the Club's key achievements during the 2020–2026 period, affirming its growing role and reputation within the professional community. Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors, outlined key priorities for the 8th term, emphasizing the need to innovate professional activities, promote the implementation of IFRS, accelerate digital transformation, develop a high-quality membership base, and strengthen communications to enhance the Club's position in the coming period.
Following discussions on the agenda, the Congress elected the Executive Board of the National Club of Chief Accountants for the 8th term (2026–2031), comprising 21 members.
