Amid the solemn atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day on September 2, the Party Committee of Thanh Xuan Ward’s Business Community, Hanoi, organized a meaningful charity trip to La Lay Commune, Quang Tri Province, a remote border area where local communities continue to face many difficulties.
The delegation was led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nga, Secretary of the Party Committee of Thanh Xuan Ward’s Business Community, together with Mr. Nguyen Phu Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Members’ Council of CPA VIETNAM Auditing Co., Ltd., and other members of the delegation. The group traveled more than 700 km from Hanoi to bring support, care, and encouragement to teachers, students, and local residents in the border area.
As part of the trip, the delegation presented a range of practical gifts and support packages worth hundreds of millions of Vietnamese dong in total, aimed at improving living conditions and learning facilities for local students and residents. These included:
- Repairing and upgrading school facilities: VND 105 million was allocated to repair classrooms at the A Bung Village satellite school of A Bung Primary and Lower Secondary School and renovate the restroom facilities at the La Hot Village satellite school. These were essential improvements to provide students with a more spacious, clean, and safe learning environment.

- Providing food support for disadvantaged students: The delegation donated 1,000 kg of rice, equivalent to 100 gift packages worth more than VND 23 million, to students at the A Ngo and A Bung Village satellite schools, helping ease the daily difficulties faced by students and their families. Each bag of rice not only provides a warm and nutritious meal but also serves as encouragement for the students to continue attending school and pursuing their dreams of education.

- Creating a space for learning and recreation: A new reading room was established with 207 new books from Kim Dong Publishing House, worth more than VND 14 million, along with hundreds of additional books, educational toys, stuffed animals, foosball tables, electronic keyboards, and other items donated by the delegation. This valuable gift provides children in the highlands with greater access to knowledge, nurtures their passion for learning, and creates a meaningful space for recreation.

- Supporting children’s health: The delegation provided 50 packages of nutritional and healthcare products, including Philatop, Calci B12, Ba Giang herbal digestive supplements, massage alcohol, and other products, as well as 500 kg of rice, to children facing particularly difficult circumstances and poor physical health. This reflects comprehensive care for their well-being, both materially and spiritually.

- Supporting social infrastructure: Two generators worth VND 24 million in total were presented to the People’s Committee and Police of La Lay Commune, helping address electricity shortages and ensuring that public services for local residents can continue without interruption.

With the spirit of “the fortunate helping the less fortunate, and those facing fewer difficulties supporting those in greater need,” the trip conveyed a message of compassion and community responsibility, while strengthening solidarity between the lowlands and highlands, and between the people of the capital and communities in the border areas.
The radiant faces of children as they received new books, their joy at having improved classrooms, and the touching expressions of local residents receiving these meaningful gifts are powerful reflections of the impact of the charity program.
The charity trip organized by the Party Committee of Thanh Xuan Ward’s Business Community, with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Phu Ha, Chairman of the Members’ Council and representative of CPA VIETNAM Auditing Co., Ltd., not only brought joy to students and residents in La Lay but also encouraged officials, Party members, and entrepreneurs to continue joining hands to support the community.
The journey from Hanoi to Quang Tri covered hundreds of kilometers, yet for the delegation, the distance seemed to fade away in light of the significance of the charity trip. Wherever there is companionship and sharing, there will be seeds of hope taking root, helping make life better with each passing day.
Memorable moments from the trip:
