Chiều 7/7, tại Hà Nội, Kiểm toán Nhà nước (KTNN) tổ chức Hội nghị sơ kết công tác 6 tháng đầu năm và triển khai nhiệm vụ 6 tháng cuối năm.

Tại hội nghị, Tổng KTNN Nguyễn Hữu Nghĩa cho biết, kế hoạch kiểm toán năm nay được triển khai đồng bộ, đúng lộ trình, với nhiều đổi mới so với các năm trước.

Đặc biệt, trong công tác phòng, chống tham nhũng, lãng phí, tiêu cực, Ban Thường vụ Đảng ủy và lãnh đạo KTNN đã ban hành nhiều văn bản để chỉ đạo, tổ chức thực hiện. Công tác này đã bước đầu tạo được chuyển biến tích cực cả về nhận thức, hành động và được thể hiện ngày càng rõ hơn trong kết quả các cuộc kiểm toán do các đơn vị thực hiện.

Tổng hợp sơ bộ kết quả kiểm toán đến 30/6, đối với 55 báo cáo kiểm toán đã phát hành, KTNN kiến nghị tăng thu, giảm chi ngân sách nhà nước hơn 10.040 tỷ đồng, kiến nghị khác hơn 28.660 tỷ đồng và hơn 4.577.000 USD.

KTNN cũng kiến nghị hủy bỏ, sửa đổi, bổ sung một số nội dung không phù hợp với quy định của Nhà nước và thực tiễn đối với 59 văn bản; kiến nghị cơ quan chức năng có thẩm quyền chỉ đạo tổ chức kiểm điểm, xử lý trách nhiệm tập thể, cá nhân đối với sai phạm phát hiện qua hoạt động kiểm toán.

Đáng chú ý, đến hết tháng 6 vừa qua, KTNN đã chuyển 5 vụ việc có dấu hiệu tội phạm sang cơ quan điều tra; cung cấp 20 hồ sơ, báo cáo kiểm toán phục vụ công tác thanh tra, kiểm tra và điều tra.

KTNN cũng đã cho ý kiến đối với 499 nhân sự theo đề nghị của Ban Tổ chức Trung ương đảm bảo kịp thời, trung thực, khách quan về trách nhiệm có liên quan đến kết luận, kiến nghị kiểm toán của KTNN, làm cơ sở tham mưu Bộ Chính trị, Ban Bí thư xem xét, phê duyệt quy hoạch và bổ nhiệm cán bộ cấp chiến lược.

Tổng KTNN yêu cầu toàn ngành tiếp tục đặc biệt coi trọng việc xây dựng và phát huy đạo đức công vụ, văn hóa ứng xử, tinh thần trách nhiệm và niềm tự hào nghề nghiệp; kiên quyết đấu tranh phòng, chống tham nhũng, lãng phí, tiêu cực, góp phần xây dựng đội ngũ cán bộ liêm chính, chuyên nghiệp, bản lĩnh và trách nhiệm.
