To enhance information transparency and proactively engage with international investors, the Ministry of Finance is preparing to lead and coordinate with the State Bank of Vietnam and relevant ministries and agencies to organize a Non-Deal Roadshow (NDR). This represents a strategic step toward providing the international investment community with a comprehensive update on Vietnam’s macroeconomic landscape.

The Non-Deal Roadshow is a regular professional activity aimed at engaging with and maintaining relationships with international investors, while providing updates on Vietnam’s macroeconomic situation. Through the roadshow, the Ministry of Finance and relevant regulatory authorities will directly share information with global financial institutions and investment funds on socio-economic developments, key fiscal and monetary policies, and Vietnam’s public debt management orientations.

As Vietnam sets ambitious growth targets and gradually transitions toward becoming an upper-middle-income country, proactively providing official information will help strengthen the confidence of the international financial community. At the same time, the roadshow will provide the public debt management authorities with an opportunity to receive market feedback and assess investors’ level of interest in bonds issued by the Vietnamese Government.

As part of this Non-Deal Roadshow, the Ministry of Finance is expected to hold a working session with an international credit rating agency under the framework of the Credit Rating Improvement Scheme, with the objective of helping Vietnam achieve investment-grade credit ratings. The Ministry will also provide timely updates on the latest macroeconomic developments, institutional, infrastructure and public financial management reforms, thereby supporting an objective and accurate assessment of Vietnam’s sovereign credit rating.

The Ministry of Finance affirmed that this is an annual investor engagement program that does not involve an immediate offering or issuance of bonds. Specific details such as the issuance size, maturity and timing will be considered and decided by the Government at an appropriate time, based on domestic development investment financing needs and favorable developments in domestic and international capital markets.

Maintaining regular channels of communication with international markets and engaging with potential investors is essential to ensuring that Vietnam is well positioned to diversify its financial resources, optimize the cost of capital mobilization, and strengthen its position in the process of international financial integration.
