On April 10, 2026, the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing of the University of Economics – Technology for Industries (UNETI) successfully organized a scientific seminar on the topic “Trends in Financial Accounting Education in the Context of Digital Transformation.” The event attracted the participation of numerous experts in finance and accounting, experienced lecturers, and a large number of students from the university.

Representing the business community, Mr. Hoang Tien Loi, Deputy General Director of CPA VIETNAM Auditing Co., Ltd., shared practical perspectives on the demand for accounting and auditing professionals in the digital era. At the seminar, he emphasized that the rapid development of technology, particularly artificial intelligence, big data, and digital management systems, is significantly transforming the role of accounting professionals. Accordingly, students need not only to acquire strong professional knowledge but also to develop technological skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to quickly adapt to the modern working environment.
The seminar served as an important bridge between the university and businesses, helping narrow the gap between theory and practice. Through practical insights shared by experts, students had the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of labor market requirements, thereby developing appropriate learning plans, skills, and career paths.
At the same time, the program opened up various opportunities for cooperation between UNETI and businesses in the accounting and auditing sector, particularly in developing practice-oriented training programs and improving the quality of human resources to meet the requirements of the digital economy in the new period.
