Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Cooperation, chaired the training session.

The conference is scheduled to take place on October 27, with related events organized from October 24 to 30, 2026. This is an important international engagement for the SAV, aimed at drawing on international experience to support amendments to the State Audit Law and the development of the SAV Development Strategy through 2035, with a vision to 2045.

During the training session, liaison officers were briefed on the schedules and duties involved in supporting the conference's key activities, including welcoming and seeing off international delegates at Noi Bai International Airport; organizing bilateral meetings; facilitating the courtesy call on the Chairman of the National Assembly; supporting official conference sessions and the welcome reception; and accompanying delegates on sightseeing programs in Hanoi and Ninh Binh. On October 24, the liaison team will welcome the delegation from the State Audit Organization of Laos, the first international delegation to arrive for the event.

Overview of the training session.

In addition to familiarizing themselves with the schedules, liaison officers received detailed guidance on procedures for welcoming senior-level and technical-level delegates. They were also briefed on 12 key points to remember and five prohibited practices in protocol and diplomatic work.

The Organizing Committee emphasized that liaison officers must thoroughly familiarize themselves with the programs, scripts, and information concerning the delegations assigned to them. They were also instructed to ensure that communication tools and work-support equipment were fully prepared, and to familiarize themselves with event venues, layout plans, and basic information about the cultures and characteristics of each delegation. These preparations are intended to ensure that welcoming, guiding, and assisting delegates are carried out thoughtfully, professionally, and according to plan.

During the session, liaison officers actively exchanged views and discussed various issues to clarify the Organizing Committee's requirements. Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung also shared practical experience in receiving and escorting delegations.

Liaison officers attending the training session.

The Deputy Director General of the Department of International Cooperation emphasized that, to ensure thoughtful and respectful arrangements for logistics, protocol, and ceremonial activities, while leaving a positive impression of a peaceful and beautiful Vietnam and a professional, hospitable SAV, each liaison officer must master the knowledge and professional skills covered in the training, proactively coordinate with colleagues, and handle tasks in accordance with established procedures throughout the event.

The training session represents a thorough preparation of personnel and professional expertise for the successful organization of the conference. It will contribute to strengthening international cooperation and promoting the image of the professional State Audit Office of Vietnam, as well as the friendliness of Vietnam, its people, and its country, among international friends.
