On January 24, 2026, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors (VAA) held the Annual Review Conference to summarize its activities in 2025 and implement its work plan for 2026. The conference was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the State Audit Office of Vietnam; current and former leaders of the Association; representatives of member organizations and international organizations; as well as numerous members, including the Management Board of CPA VIETNAM Auditing Company.
CPA VIETNAM Attends the VAA 2025 Annual Review Conference
On January 24, 2026, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors (VAA) held the Annual Review Conference to summarize its activities in 2025 and implement its work plan for 2026. The conference was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the State Audit Office of Vietnam; current and former leaders of the Association; representatives of member organizations and international organizations; as well as numerous members, including the Management Board of CPA VIETNAM Auditing Company.

The year 2025 was considered particularly significant for VAA as it implemented the Resolution of the 7th National Congress of VAA for the 2024–2029 term. Against the backdrop of numerous socio-economic changes, the Association made concerted efforts to carry out key tasks and achieved positive results in organizational development, professional training and capacity building, policy consultation, as well as international cooperation and integration. Notably, VAA successfully hosted the 24th ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) Conference and the 141st AFA Council Meeting in Hanoi on October 30 and 31, 2025. The events were organized safely and professionally, leaving a positive impression on international delegates. This success further affirmed VAA’s position, reputation, and responsibility within the regional professional community, while contributing to promoting the image of Vietnam, its people, and the accounting and auditing profession in the process of international integration.
Looking ahead to 2026, VAA will continue to focus on improving the quality of member activities, strengthening professional training, actively participating in the development and improvement of mechanisms and policies related to accounting and auditing, and enhancing international cooperation, with the aim of advancing the profession in line with international standards and practices.
As part of the Conference, VAA honored organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2025. The CPA VIETNAM Branch Chapter was honored with a Certificate of Merit for its outstanding achievements in 2025 and its positive contribution to the development of the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors. In addition, three individuals from the CPA VIETNAM Branch Chapter received Certificates of Merit in recognition of their outstanding contributions to professional activities and the Association’s work in 2025.


This recognition serves as strong motivation for CPA VIETNAM to continue playing an active role as a VAA member, accompanying the Association in professional activities and contributing to enhancing the quality and reputation of Vietnam’s accounting and auditing profession in the years ahead.
